Allow non-URL's for websites

Michael Riccard 10 years ago updated by Simon Overlook 10 years ago 2
My website has dynamic URL's that change depending on the QA enviroment. As such I'd like to paste the name of the page instead of the URL for the page. If this could be an option (it wouldn't force in an https) that'd be a nice add-on.

More clear indication of pass/fail on grid for color blind people

Michael Riccard 10 years ago updated by Simon Overlook 10 years ago 2
Curently the grid has red and green dots. However as one who is partially color blind it can be hard to distingish them at a high level. If you could make the red dots like red X's or something similar that would be very helpful for myself and perhaps other users of the system.

Better indication of failures

Michael Riccard 10 years ago updated by Luca 10 years ago 3
Currently there is no high level way to tell how many failures occured for a certain test, while the matrix shows red and green dots I would like to be able to know quickly that my test has X about of failed tests.

JIRA integration

Would be nice to integrate with JIRA, both on-demand and on-premise installs.

Add keyboard shortcuts for mouse-less testing

Grant Grueninger 10 years ago updated by Simon Overlook 10 years ago 2
When running a long test, it's tiresome, repetitive, and slow having to click Pass, click in Notes, click Save & Next.  It'd be nice to, for example, enter a Fail like this:
- Hit F.  Fail is highlighted
- Type a note (possibly hitting tab first)
- Hit return (or tab then return)

Archive test plan

Charles Wood 10 years ago updated by Simon Overlook 10 years ago 1
It'd be nice to be able to archive individual test plans instead of delete them.

E.g., if a test plan that's already been run a lot has to be updated to handle a change to the application, I would duplicate the plan and edit the dupe. It'd be nice then to be able to keep all that run history around by archiving the old plan instead of letting it hang out and clutter up the view.

Thanks!

Browser type

Charles Wood 10 years ago updated by Simon Overlook 10 years ago 1
Please add Opera as an option in the Browser Type dropdown for Website test plans. I know it's an uncommon browser but we use it a lot in my department (we routinely have 3 different browsers open.)

Either that, or an editable browser list would be cool :)

Thanks!

Improving the usability of the results screen for web projects

Phil Lee 10 years ago updated by Simon Overlook 10 years ago 2
Result screen is too cluttered in view comments mode and view grid mode
is nice but doesn't provide enough information. It would be awesome if I
could click on one of the coloured dots in view grid mode and see the
comment associated (e.g. I'd like to see the comment for a red dot fail on Safari but I might not care to see the comment for the Firefox which has passed).

Non-linear flow for completing test cases

Simon Overlook 10 years ago updated 10 years ago 1
Once testing you need a dashboard that allows you to jump around in the tests and not be required to go in a linear flow

- Select browser at any time from drop down
- Easy 1 click switch use case to success or fail and enter comments
